House. Circa mid C19 remodelling and extension of an earlier building. Rendered walls, slate roof. Two storeys. Main elevation to Lewens Lane
has 2 gables, the larger, on the north, terminating a projecting rear wing.
Central doorway with round headed panelled door, with flat hood on ornamental
console brackets. Ground floor has 2 double hung sash windows in raised rendered
surrounds with pedimented hoods. First floor has 2 similar windows, and a double
hung sash window in plain surround over the door. Side (north) elevation has an
ornamental timber verandah with glass roof. Ground floor has 3 pairs of french
doors. First floor has 3 double hung sash windows.
No.1 incorporates the remains of an older cob wall building with a lower roof still remaining under the mid C19 roof and which extends into the adjoining No.2 Lewens Lane to the right.
