ST 6601 CERNE ABBAS ABBEY STREET, (east side)

26.1.56 Cuckoo Cottage)

Attached Cottage. Late C16, core, much altered and refashioned
C20. Rubble-stone and brick walls, with upper storey jettied
and plastered. Thatch roof with gable end. Brick stack on
ridge, centre. Two storeys. 3 windows, first floor has a C19
wooden casement with glazing-bars, right, and two C20 wood case-
ments with lead lights. 3-light wood casement at ground floor
centre. Front door at left hand with tall recess panels, and
one light, C20. Garage doors at right hand, 2-leaf, plank.
