Former abbey tenements, now attached private house. Early C16,
with C18 and Cl9 alterations. Knapped flint and banded stone
plinth, plastered walls, jettied. 3 jetty-braces survive.
Moulded stone corbelling, left of canted bay, and at right
gable-end, C16. Brick stack at ridge centre, and C20 stack at
right hand end, front eaves. Stone ball-finial at right hand
gable. Two storeys. 3 windows, canted bays at left ground,
and above; these are not aligned: Sashes with glazing-bars;
2, 3, 2-light (ground); 3, 3, 3-light (first floor). Right
of front door: 3-light wood casements with glazing-bars,
C19/20. First floor: 3, 2-light wooden casements with glazing-
bars. High garage-doors at left hand end plank. Front door
at centre, plank-and-muntin, with embattled wood lintel, and
small top lights, C20. Interior not inspected, may be of
