2 adjoining cottages. Late C18 or early C19. Painted rendered stone rubble and cob.
Half-hipped thatch roof with end brick stacks.
Plan: each cottage is of 2 rooms, the outer rooms being larger. Left end cottage
(Huxleigh) has central passage with staircase to rear of right-hand room. Left-hand
cottage has direct entry into right-hand room. Leanto's at each end with corrugated
iron roofs.
Exterior: 2 storeys. 4-window range. Late C19 or early C20 fenestration intact,
all 2-light casements 6 panes per light. Huxleigh has C20 gabled porch, Mayville a
lean-to brick porch with C19 plank inner door.
Interior: C19 joinery mostly intact.
