House. Late C18. Pink sandstone ashlar with string course and rusticated angle
pilasters. Graduated greenslate roof with ashlar chimney stacks. 2 storeys,
3 bays with lower right 2-bay extension. Centre panelled door and overlight in
pilastered surround, under pediment with Howard coat-of-arms. C20 plastic
casement windows with glazing bars in stone architraves. Extension has similar
windows, one of them in a blocked doorway. This was the agent's house for the
Greystoke estate. The rear barn has C20 alterations and is not of interest.
