Pair of attached houses. Early - mid C19 with some C20 alterations. Granite and
slatestone rubble with brick dressings. Bitumenised slate roof with ridge tiles;
hipped over the left end and with gable end to right. Axial stack with brick shaft.
Plan: Pair of attached one-room plan houses. The rooms are to the centre, sharing
the axial stack, with entrances to right and left at the outer ends of the front.
Exterior: 2 storeys, a symmetrical front with No 2 to right and No 4 to left. No 2
has ground floor 4-pane sash and C20 door with overlight to right. Two 4-pane sashes
at first floor; all windows of C19.
No 4 4o left has C20 door to left, large 20-pane sash with flat brick arch to right.
Two similar 20-pane sashes at first floor; all windows of early C19. The left side
is rendered, blind.
