3 chest tombs. C18 and early C19. Dressed granite and slate. Chest farthest to
east has dressed granite sides, moulded granite lid and inset inscribed slate to:
Alexander Marrack, died 1802 aged 52; wife Blanch, daughter of William and Elizabeth
Rowe, died 1807 aged 3-, and their daughter who died in 1796 aged 1 day. Chest
immediately to the west of Marrack tomb has incised decoration to the original lid
and is inscribed to W. Thomas, died 1742 aged 73. Chest immediately to north of
Thomas tomb is constructed of slabs of slate. The incised inscription is
indecipherable.
