Description

TINTAGEL
SX 08 NE
Garden wall with niches in front of
4/154 Halgabron House
GV II

Garden wall with 4 niches which may be bee-boles. Probably mid C19. Contemporary
with the remodelling of Halgabron House (qv). Slate stone rubble and quartz. The
low walls enclose the garden in front of Halgabron House. A row of 4 niches on the
inside of the left hand wall have round dressed stone arched openings; the exact use
of these niches is uncertain although they are possibly bee-boles.
