Shown on OS map as Newham Farmhouse, now house. C17, remodelled c.1800 with later
additions and alterations. Rendered slate-stone with rendered cob to left gable
end; slate roof. 2 storeys. 3-window front, 16-panel glazing bar sashes, except
lower right 20-panel, ground-floor windows homed. Central 6-panel door under flat-
roofed open porch. Plain projecting corner pilasters. External end stacks, right
truncated single storey lean-to attached to right gable end with 16-paned glazing
bar sash to front is continued as 2-storey lean-to to rear. This has hip-roofed
section breaking eaves with 24-paned horned glazing bar sash lighting staircase
and pigeon nesting holes and ledges directly below eaves to either side. Interior:
Chamfered joists to right ground-floor room. Panelled doors and window shutters
C17 collar truss roof raised c.1800.
