SW 52 NE GERMOE TRESOWES HILL

7/236 Adit House

GV II

Small house. C18. Painted rubble and cob walls. Wheat reed thatched roof with
stone gable end stack, left, heightened with brick and brick chimney over gable end,
right.
2 room plan: kitchen/living room left and parlour right; probably entrance lobby with
stain between. Small C20 lean-to added at right.
2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 2 window south-west front with doorway and
fenestration grouped slightly closer to the right. C20 granite rubble porch with
rounded thatched roof linked to main roof. C20 door and windows.
One of only 2 houses still thatched in Germoe parish.
