Former house and shop, now offices. C17 with C19 facade and
late C20 shop front. Timber-framed and rendered; plaintiled
roof with moulded wooden eaves cornice. 2 storeys and cellar.
One small-paned sash window in a cased frame to the upper
storey.
INTERIOR: cellar, below part of front range, is converted to a
kitchen; it has one large main beam exposed. The building is
in 2 ranges, the front parallel to the street, the rear, at
right angles to it, has been widened. Framing, with some
reused timbers, is very denuded. Chimney-stack removed. Roof
over front C20 renewed, and over the rear range a C19
replacement with a shallower pitch on the east slope.
