House, C17 to C18. Shale rubble and granite with Delabole slate roof and brick
gable chimneys. 2-room plan (surviving wing from courtyard complex). 2 storeys, 3
windows with central entrance under lean-to porch which is really a pair of
buttresses (further buttress to left). Flanking ground and first floor windows are
3-light casements with 30 panes. 2-light casement over door has 20 panes. Timber
lintels. Building may have continued further to left and blocked opening to left
may have been door. External chimney breast to right gable. Rear has irregular
window openings, mostly casements with small panes. One opening to right blocked
and small lean-to at east end. Adjoining garden wall has 2 granite arched
door frames, one pointed with hollow chamfer and the other round headed and flat
chamfered with hood mould.
