5/11 Place Manor Lodge at approx. 12 m
- north-east of Place Manor

GV II

Lodge. Probably mid C19. Slate rubble walls with granite quoins. Steep dry
Delabole slate roof with gable ends. Axial brick stack with pair of diagonally set
brick shafts. 2 room plan plus porch to front and outshut to rear. Tudor influence.
Single storey plus attic.
West front has gable ended porch off centre to right with central 2-light wooden
mullioned window and round ventilator to gable. Barge boards to this and other
gables are shaped, pierced and cusped. Boarded door on side of porch. Similar
4-light window to left of porch, also to ground floor of gable ends north and south
most with leaded lights, 2-light casement windows to gables and C20 single light
window to right of porch.
