Farmhouse, probably early C18, partly remodelled in mid-C19. Rubble stone with
quoins and asbestos slate roof with hipped ends. Rear projecting wing with slightly
lower gable end and dairy in angle under outshut. Rendered brick stack in left-hand
hipped end and large rendered stone chimney with brick stack in right-hand hipped
end.
L-shaped plan with main range of originally 2 rooms with cross passage and
dairy to rear. Rear wing of one room.
2 storeys, almost symmetrical front. Ground floor with 2 sash windows, 2 panes
each sash, flanking central gabled rubble stone porch with round arched opening.
Panelled door. Three 4-pane sashes above. Lean-to on left-hand gable end.
Mounting block on right-hand gable end.
Rear wing with C20 partly glazed porch under sloping roof. Chamfered timber
lintel with plain stops over entrance. Roughly cut chamfered timber ceiling beams.
2 cloam ovens in fireplace on right-hand gable end. Timber screen on first floor.
Roof timbers not inspected.
