Village pound. Probably medieval in origin; rubble walls may be C17. Slatestone
rubble walls. The pound is a small rectangular enclosure, about 8 metre by 10
metres, with slatestone rubble walls about 1½ metres high. At the south west corner
there is a C20 cast iron gate.
On the 1907 Ordnance Survey, this is marked as former pound.
