Public house. Early C19. Dressed sandstone; late C20 clay
pantile roof; stone gable copings; brick stacks at gables. 2 storeys,
2 bays. Central doorway with simple timber pilaster-and-entablature
surround; 6-panelled door and blocked rectangular fanlight. Mid
C19 canted bay windows to ground floor; 2 first floor windows; all
sashes with glazing bars and stone sills. Bar interior retains
early C20 fittings. Extensions to rear (W. side) are not of interest.
