Formerly Hope Green farmhouse, now 2 houses: C17 with mid C19 facade and C20 alterations. Mainly stuccoed brick but part in coursed squared buff sandstone rubble. Kerridge stone-slate roof and 5 brick chimneys. Greenacres has a 2-storey, 3-bay stuccoed front with 16-pane sashes in the end bays, a central plain doorcase with a rectangular fanlight divided by vertical glazing bars and a 6-panelled door. Heavy roof timbers visible in gables reveal C17 origins. Interior: not inspected but heavy ceiling beams reported. Windle Hey is of 2 attached ranges to rear of Greenacres, one in brick and one in stone. Brick has sawtooth band at 1st floor, stone has projecting rubble band at 1st floor. Openings mixture of C19 and C20. Interior: not inspected but C17 woodwork reported.
