C18 house, much altered. Local brown brick; slate roof. Two
storeys with attics, four 'bays' and double pile plan. Shaped
gable at north. Four, flush framed sash windows with central
glazing bars. Two small, renewed casement attic windows. C19
shop windows. Elevation facing West Street has three flush
frame hung sash windows with glazing bars and two sunk, oval
panels with initals and date R.R.B. 1701.
