Early C16. Altered in the Cl9. 3 storeys, timber-framed and plastered;
tiled roof; both 1st and 2nd floors project, the latter with carved brackets;
4 sliding sash windows with glazing bars on 2nd floor; 2 oriel windows
of C18 on 1st floor of No 15. Modern shop fronts. Much of the internal
arrangements remain and some original features. (RCHM 188).
Nos 8 to 19 (consec), the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Church of
St Clement form a group.
