Shop with accommodation over. c1800-20, shown on 1820 Post
Office Map. with c1980s ground-floor shop front. Stucco over
brick with concealed roof and iron window guards.
EXTERIOR: 4 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. Stucco detailing
includes incised arcading to first floor on impost cornice,
and with incised anthemion design between; second- and
third-floor moulded sill bands (interrupted by sills); second
floor has incised 'Greek key' decoration around windows.
First, second and third floors have 6/6 sashes, those to first
floor are taller, all in plain reveals. Low parapet with
copings.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: first-floor Carron Company window guards
with double-heart-and-anthemion motif.
