SS 90 SE BROADCLYST KILLERTON PARK

Main lodge to Killerton park. 1825. By C R Cockrell. Stuccoed, with low pitched
hipped slate roof and pair of coupled chamfered stacks on ridge of wing now painted.
L-shaped plan; single-storeyed.
Front: (to drive) asymmetrical; end of wing polygonal; one 2-light window to all
three faces, the central window brought out under a timber pediment on pilasters;
canted bay to left of wing; a platband connects lintels of all windows, and low
stone plinth. Casements, all timber and C20. It is assumed the entrance was under
the pediment. Alterations capable of reversal.
