patched with stone rubble and late C19 brick; thatch roof.
Barn facing east with large opposing doors on the long walls onto the threshing
floor.
Front contains a full height doorway with a little right of centre. Each of the
double doors is split into 2 flaps and are plank doors with cover strips. Much of
the wall is faced with local flint rubble and the corners and doorway have brick
quoins. The roof is hipped each end. The left (southern) end wall is faced with
brick and contains a loading hatch. Rear doorway is smaller than the front one and
contains similar doors.
Interior is open from the ground to a 4-bay roof of C18 A-frame trusses with spiked
lap-jointed collars and X-apexes.
