Chest tomb. 1678. Granite, the chest (excluding the cap) cut from a single piece of stone. Heavy moulded capstone and carvings on north, east and south side. Inscription on top of slab difficult to read, but centre panel clearly bears the date 1678. On north side are 2 primitive carvings of angels, their wings outstretched, set in a scrolled framework. On the south side are 2 mythical beasts, probably a lion and unicorn, set in a more elaborately scrolled framework. On the east side is a stylized tree with a crown on top.
