2 houses in row. Early C19. Rendered, slate mansard roofs. An
exact 'handed' pair of houses, but separately built, and with
a narrow alley between the two.
2 storeys, attic and basement, each 1 window; No.5 has a
4-pane sash flat dormer above a 2-storey canted bay with plain
sash, with moulded cornice and flat roof. The basement has a
2-light window in the plane of the main wall, behind a
protective iron railing. To the left, in a deep arched reveal
is a C20 door under a painted-in radial fanlight, on 4 steps.
A high plinth, a plain mid band, plain gabled return to the
right, with stack. No.5 is near identical, but has a 2-light
casement dormer, and the former doorway is now blocked. A
large flat-roofed addition to the rear.
