House, now offices. Early C19 with C16 rear wing. White brick
front, render to north side, timber-framed rear; slate roof. A
plain parapet and moulded stone cornice to the front.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and cellar. 2 window range: small-paned
sashes in plain reveals, painted on the ground storey, with
flat gauged arches and projecting stone sills. A raised stone
band between the 1st storey windows. A 6-panel entrance door
in a semicircular-headed brick surround; fanlight with fan
glazing.
INTERIOR: cellar with a large main ceiling beam has walls with
C20 render. At the back of the entrance hall an early C19
stair with stick balusters and wreathed handrail. In the front
1st-storey room a moulded plaster cornice and a frieze with
floral decoration. Panelled internal window shutters. The
timber-framed 3-storey rear range overlaps with the back of
the adjoining building on the north. A low ground storey room
has widely spaced joists set flat, some replacements. No
framing visible on the 1st storey. The top storey is an
addition.
