Retaining wall, steps and gate piers. 1826. Coursed squared
sandstone and ashlar. Low retaining walls enclosing a raised
rectangular graveyard around St Giles' Church. To the west is a
flight of five stone steps leading up to a pair of octagonal
ashlar gate piers with lancet panelled sides, moulded octagonal
caps and concrete cross finials. Pair of wrought iron gates.
To the north is a lower inner wall with chamfered copings and a
pair of urns, forming a lower north and east walk. Flight of
five stone steps descend to the walk to the house. Short
octagonal piers with urns. Two further piers and urns in
damaged condition. Listed for group value only.
