The Old Bell House

House. Late C18 with C19 remodelling. Coursed rubble gritstone with quoins,
coped gable to south west end with moulded kneelers. End ridge stone stacks and a
stone slated roof. Two storeys, three bays, with 2-light chamfer mullioned windows
to first floor, now with C19 casements. Ground floor openings, formerly flush-
mullioned, now with C19 casements. Off-centre doorway with massive surround and
lintel. C20 glazed door. To the south west end, an advanced C20 flat roofed
extension. Listed for group value only.
