Detached villa. Late C18. Rubble stone, formerly rendered, with
flush quoins, hipped stone slate roof with painted stone blocking
course and formerly with moulded stone cornice, ashlar lateral
stacks with moulded cornice to each return. Single front range of
2 storeys originally with one lower hipped rear range to left
second hipped range added in centre probably in C19 and C20 wing to
rear right, latter two still rendered. Three windows, 16-pane
sashes in plain stone architraves with C20 internal secondary
glazing. Two similar on ground floor and central projecting stone
Doric porch with 2 unfluted columns and pilasters on bases, on
single shallow stone step, with door of 6 panels, top 2 glazed, the
rest flush, and frieze, moulded cornice and blocking course. Rear
and side fenestration mostly C20.
