Almshouses now a house. C18 (in existence by 1788: VCH (1912)
396, item 7). Timber frame roughcast with thatched roof. Lobby-
entry, central-chimney, 2-room plan house of one and a half
storeys with later lean-to extensions at ends with red tile
roofs. Modern gabled tiled porch roughcast central with a small
2-light casement on each side, 3 gabled conjoined thatched
dormers each with 2-light casement. Large red brick central
chimney. Picturesque hill top position.
