Former gate lodge to Blakesware, now a house. 'A 1897 D' carved
on bressumer of W gable. For Gosselin family. Half-timbered
jettied upper floor with roughcast infill, red brick ground floor
in English-bond, and red tiled roof. L-shaped with gabled ends
facing road (S) and drive (W), and arched wooden flat topped
white porch sheltering door in the angle of the wings. 4-light
casement leaded windows, with transomes and segmental gauged
arches on ground floor. Canted oriel and overhanging upper gable
with projected bargeboards on S. (Pevsner (1977) 406).
