House. 1895 (date carved over door). As a master's house for
Haileybury. Red brick with red tiled roof. An irregular L-
shaped 2-storeys 'Queen Anne' house with rounded shaped gable
parapets to wing facing road (N) and to stair tower in the angle
with the main range. Moulded brick floor band stepped up twice
over door near W corner with Moulded semi-circular hood and
moulded brick architrave to 5-panel moulded door. Boxed sash
windows slightly recessed with rubbed flat arches and keystones
and 4/4 panes to each. Mullion and trasomed leaded stair window.
Bullseye window in N wing gable with 2-light sash window on 1st
floor and 2 narrow sash windows on ground floor. Single storey
offices extend to E. 2-storey and 1-storey bay windows on garden
front (S). Forms a group with No 2.
