(south side)
2/22 Little Barwick Farm

GV II

House. C17 incorporating earlier work, late C17 extension on W
and C19 rear wing. Timber frame, plastered in main house but
exposed in W extension. Steep old red tile roofs, half hipped on
W extension and open porch on W end. L-shaped house facing N
with unusually wide, 2-storeys and attic, central chimney plan.
Former door into lobby by stack recently moved to W end. Stair
behind stack. Hall on E of stack with larger fireplace and stair
door. Parlour on W with unheated service room beyond. Original
fireplace in chamber over the Hall (RCHM Typescript). N front
has painted brick plinth, 2 windows on each floor to the main
house, a small window in the place of the former front door, and
one window on each floor of the black and white lower W
extension. 2-light flush casement windows, renewed. Interior
has moulded staircase with fat turned balusters, flat 4-centred,
brick arch to 1st floor fireplace, C19 fireplace in attic. The W
