1919 designed by F L Griggs. Stone. Octagonal. Two steps; high plinth with panels
of names below shields of local families. Tall shaft capped by gabled cross. At
base of shaft are further shields. The memorial is in an enclosure with low rubble
walls with weathered capping, on south side the wall is a retaining wall, about
4 ft 6, to road. An important focal point.
