Road bridge over River Tone. Late medieval in origin, southern arch built 1852,
altered C20. Random rubble local stone,dressed voussoirs to arches, red sandstone to
southern arch, parapet rebuilt in red brick, blue glazed bricks saddle back coping.
Three arch span, 2 northern arches 4-centred and chamfered, central arch dying into
northern impost by cutwater southern arch semi-circular with keystone, 2 pointed
cutwaters with cement caps.(Photograph in NMR;Bentley and Murless,Somerset Roads 1985).
