Formerly called Longside. 1888 architect, Reginald Blomfield, as
part of an estate development. 2 storeys and attic in brick, the
upper storey rendered. Coved eaves cornice. String course.
Tile roof with gables which form a feature of the house, 3 to the
main elevation with applied timber framing, plain bargeboards and
finials. Windows to 1st floor are casements with glazing bars,
mullions and transoms. Staircase window above door is of 16
rectangular light leaded panes. Round-headed doorway with
keystone and double doors with side lights. Full-height angle
projection to right with pargetted base to gabled attic venetian
window. Interior includes staircase in simple chinese style.
