House. Late C17, brick front early C19. Timber frame exposed with
painted brick infill only at rear. Plastered S gable end. Plum brick
front. Steep old red tile roof. A 2-storeys and basement house next the
pavement facing W. A 3-bays structure with end-chimney at N emerging in
front of ridge. W front 3 windows wide with cambered arches to ground
floor openings. 2-lights recessed casement windows. On the RH a 4-panels
flush-beaded door, on LH a similar door up 2 steps with a fully gabled
tiled hood on brackets. Canted bay window to left of door has sash
windows and also lights the basement room at the downhill (N) end of
house. Exposed 3-bays of timber frame in rear wall with narrow studs and
straight braces to S corner. 2 3-lights old casement windows to 1st
floor with 2 flat-topped dormers over at eaves lighting the same rooms.
