SO 33 SE ABBEY DORE CP -

5/8 Farmhouse Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Probably late C17 to C18, with late C19 alterations. Timber-
framed with plaster and brick infill, sandstone rubble and brick, Welsh
slate roof and brick stacks. L-plan with wings projecting to north and
east. Cellar, two storeys and attic to north/south wing; one storey and
attic to east wing. South elevation has two windows, gable front to left
with late C19 sash to centre of ground floor, one 2-light casement to first
floor and attic, small one-light window on first floor above gabled entrance
porch, wall-posts and principals visible in gable; to the right is the east
wing with two juxtaposed sashes in an early C20 gabled projection on the
right-hand side, external corner stack to extreme right, one row of timber-
framed panelling rises from rubble base level with window heads of gabled
projection. Interior noted as having heavy ground floor ceiling beams.
