5/17 Llanderwen Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Probably C18 with late C19 extension. Timber-frame with brick
infill; brick finished in render, stone slate and Welsh slate roof, brick
stacks. Rectangular plan comprising two timber-framed bays aligned north/
south with C19 extension to north end. One storey and attic. East elevation
has no attic windows, one 4-paned early C20 window to either side of entry
in timber-framed part, late C19 ledged door in early C20 gabled porch with
side lights; second entry with early C20 ledged door to right-hand extension;
west elevation has two gabled late C19 or early C20 dormers with 3-light
casements in timber-framed part. Interior has chamfered ceiling beams and
ledged C18 door to southernmost ground floor room.
