Cottage. C17, altered in C20. Timber-framed beneath cement render, tiled
roof, brick external stack to left side elevation. 2 framed bays; baffle
entry. Single storey and attic with dormers. Large square panels, 2 from
sill to wall-plate; queen strut truss exposed in left gable end. Front elevation
has 2 ground floor casements, 2 gabled dormers with casements, half-glazed
lean-to brick porch at left end and C20 timber door. Interior Roof has queen
strut trusses and single trenched purlins. Main beams are stop chamfered.
A C20 2 storey cross-wing intersects with the right side elevation and there
is also a lean-to extension to the left side elevation enclosing the external
chimney.
