Farmhouse. C17, altered and-extended mid-C19. Coursed sandstone rubble
with ashlar dressings, slate and plain tiled roofs with brick stacks.
Main three-bay range aligned roughly east/west and largely a C19 refronting
to original part at rear. It has a large external rubble chimney with a
brick stack adjoining to the north-west and at the eastern end. Two storeys.
Main south elevation: three bays with end quoins. Windows have ashlar sills
and are C19 casements. There are two 3-light windows and a 4-light window
with transoms on the ground floor and three first floor 2-light windows. Main
entrance to right of centre has a flat stone canopy on shaped stone brackets
and a 9-panelled door (the upper three panels are glazed). There is a large
wing to the rear left, a small central rear stair wing and an L-shaped wing
to the rear right.
