House. C15, with mid-C20 alterations. Roughcast coursed rubble with
tile roof. Three roof bays aligned east/west, stack to west end of
north wall. South front of two storeys with two 2-light casements.
Ground floor has three windows, the two outer ones as above, that to the
centre probably C16 with wooden architrave and two diamond mullions.
Entrance to left of centre has C20 lean-to tiled canopy and C20 ledged
and boarded door. Interior: the west room has heavily moulded ceiling
beams and inglenook. Roof has purlins clasped by curved struts with
slightly curved wind-braces. (RCHM, 3, p 216, no 2).
