House, now commercial premises: C18, refronted and heightened early C19; C20 alterations. Red brick in Flemish bond; roof not visible. Three storeys, two bays with rear range. C20 shop front with central door and another door (to No 38A) left. Windows are sashes with glazing bars on first floor, six-pane sashes above all with gauged flat brick arches and projecting sills. Parapet. Stack at right end has stepped tabling. Right return: rear range is not as tall as front range and has stepped, dentilled eaves.
