Pair of terraced houses designed to appear as one house.
c1823. Yellow stock brick. 2 storeys. 2 windows each with
slightly recessed entrance bays and projecting centre bay with
blind window to each floor. Gauged brick round-arched doorways
with stucco keystones and impost bands; patterned fanlights
and panelled doors. Gauged brick flat arches to recessed
sashes. Entrance bays with stone coped parapets; central bays
with projecting stone cornice and taller stone coped parapet.
1st floor central blind window with lugged tablet inscribed
"Portland Place 1823", and fire insurance plaque below.
INTERIORS: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached low
brick garden walls with cast-iron railings with urn finials;
gate piers and gates.
