TQ 2980 NW CITY OF WESTMINSTER CONDUIT STREET W1 70/4 No 47 9.1.70 GV II

Terrace house. Early C18 with some alterations. Brown brick slate roof. Four storeys. Three windows. Early C20 wooden shop front. Brick plat bands between floors. Red brick segmental arches to flush framed windows, no glazing bars. Early C19 cast iron balconettes to first floor. Ground floor redecorated and extended out to rear with gallery in neo Adam style but retains original cornice to front room and remains of back to back corner fireplaces with rear parlour. Original dog leg staircase, cut string with carved tread ends, columnar balusters and fluted newels, the stairwell clad with fielded panels and dado, etc.
