1907 (dated on foundation stone) by Geo. and R P Baines and Son, builders H Knight and
Son. Decorative building in free Late Perpendicular style, of striking materials.
Rough white flint rabble with proud black pointing; and dressing. of intensely
red brick and terracotta. Central gabled main bay with projecting gabled porch.
One enemy left bay with pyramidal tiled roof. At right a tower of four-stages
and a panelled, battlemented parapet with windows. Large, paired bell openings.
Mach tracery to windows and parapets. Swept roofs on returns, and transept and
vestry projections. Hoodmould to door and windows, and good period woodwork.
