Gravestone embedded in the church wall, as part of a blocked doorway. To Mary Carter daughter of Henry and Grace Carter d. Sept 24th aged 4 years. Probably late C19 to early C20 rather than a restoration of an earlier memorial. (visible setting-out lines, no ligatures, modern ampersand, father and mother receiving equal surname status).
