South aisle looking east. Font may be originally have been Early English Gothic, round with no differentiation between base and bowl. The recessed eight lancets decoration possibly a re-cut of an octagonal original. The recessed window makes a good plinth for a reredos in the south chapel. The small atch of a piscina can be seen, to the right, at the same level. (Photo Mar 2010).
