South doorway is round arched and of C12. Round quatrefoiled window over the door. A hatchment to the left: a man who left a widow - the background of the right hand side is white. The carpets are airing - the winter snow has only just gone. Note the difference in thickness of the north and south arcade piers - those to the north are slimmer. They were built later, the masons gaining confidence in the building style. (Photo Mar 2010).
