5/228 Gatepiers, gate and wall to front
garden of Sheldon Manor

GV II

Garden wall and gates, early C18, enclosing 3 sides of front
garden. Rubble stone garden wall with coping, ramped up to 2
large ashlar gate piers, corniced with large ball finials. Early
to mid C19 iron gates with spearhead finials, added c1911. Front
retaining wall has sloping buttresses on south side and 5 stone
steps up to gates.
