Terrace of 4 houses. Early C19 with later additions and alterations.
Red brick, slate roof with central brick ridge stack and internal end
stacks to left and right. 3 storeys, moulded wooden eaves cornice;
7-window front, glazing bar sashes in alternating wide segmental-headed
and narrow round-headed openings (tripartite to former) with stuccoed
fan-like ornament in tympana, windows to top floor of reduced proportions
with gauged heads; ground floor has a pair of pilastered single-pedimented
doorcases with panelled reveals, 6-panel doors and fanlights to left and
right, alternating with tripartite windows identical to those on first
floor; central round-arched passageway has decorated projecting keystone
and imposts. Early C20 bay window to No. 18 on ground floor. B.O.E.
p. 224.
